Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Monday summoned Norway’s ambassador to Tehran, Sigvald Tomin Hauge, to protest unacceptable remarks by the Norwegian parliament speaker against the Islamic Republic.
The Foreign Ministry strongly condemned those remarks and labeled them as interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
In a recent interview with a media outlet hostile to Iran, Norwegian Parliament Speaker voiced support for the ongoing riots in Iran.
The Norwegian ambassador stated that he will convey Iran’s protest to the authorities in Oslo.
