Iranian people across the country held al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
According to Qom News In Tehran, a huge crowd of people gathered at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla for Eid al-Fitr prayers, led by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In Iran's northeastern city of Mashhad, Naqareh drums resonated at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) as worshippers participated in Eid prayers. This marks the conclusion of Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset.
Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal, the 10th lunar calendar month, with its timing determined by the sighting of the new moon. It is customary for Muslims to offer a special Salat, usually performed in open fields or large halls with congregations.
