Municipality of Qom on Wednesday officially launched its Arabic service ahead of the Persian new year on March 17.

The Arabic version unveiled by Qom’s mayor, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaianneja,d and Abdollah Jalali, head of Qom’s Islamic City Council, on the sidelines of the last session of the Council.

The first version of the Arabic-language website of Qom Municipality dedicated to introducing the holy city of Qom and its historical and religious sites, including the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh, the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran, and Qom’s seminary.

The history of the municipality of Qom and the Islamic City Council, the names of the mayors, and the introduction of the current mayor of Qom as well as his resume are some parts of the Arabic website of Qom municipality that have been unveiled today.

The Arabic version of Qom Municipality’s website also consists of the important news of the holy city and its Municipality as well as necessary urban information.

It should be mentioned that the Arabic version is not a translation of the Persian news website of Qom Municipality. It is designed based on the needs of the Arabic-speaking audience to improve the relationship between foreign audience and Qom Municipality.

The content of the Arabic website would be updated daily. Investment opportunities, a Qom map in Arabic, and information about different parts of the municipality will be added to the website gradually.

Qom Municipality Arabic website is designed and implemented by the municipality’s Information Technology sector and its content is managed by the General Directorate of Communications and International Affairs.
