As COVID-19 cases dropped and Qom coronavirus-related restrictions relaxed, the city’s parks and recreation areas were reopened.
Alavi, Ghadir and Hashemi amusement parks, as well as the Ghaem indoor complex, and 12 playgrounds for children, including wind parks and trampolines are available to citizens.
Moreover, telesiege and sled in Alavi Park are ready to provide recreation services to the people.
Last month, the head of Qom Municipality Development and Civil Engineering Organization has announced that all provincial parks and recreation areas in Qom are shut down to limit the further spread of coronavirus.
Iran has seen a significant surge in the number of coronavirus deaths and infections in recent weeks as the Delta variant of the virus continues to spread across the country.
According to Iran’s Health Ministry, Some 355 more Iranians have died from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours bringing the total deaths to 116,791.
The Health Ministry also announced that 28,382,995 Iranians have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 13,620,868 people have so far received the second dose of the vaccine.
