Qomnews : Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin inked the joint comprehensive strategic agreement in a ceremony at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow on Friday.

According to Qom News  The joint agreement, according to the presidents of the two countries, will open new opportunities for cooperation, especially economic relations between Tehran and Moscow.

Iran and Russia stressed their determination to expand bilateral cooperation in the form of a new document.

President pezeshkian stated that the document includes increasing the level of exchanges by utilizing the capacities and capabilities within the Eurasian Economic Union, stressing the importance of improving bilateral cooperation on issues such as the fight against extremism, terrorism and organized violence.

The Russian president also said that both his country and Iran are resolutely opposed to external pressure from abroad and attach importance to the establishment of peace and security in the Caucasus.
