Ali Momen Hejazi made the remarks referring to the approval of the constitution of Qom Municipality’s Information and Communication Technology Organization in the Qom Islamic City Council.

With the follow-ups and based on Article 80 of the Municipalities, the organization’s constitution were approved, while before that we operated under Article 54 of the Municipalities Law and did not have independent legal and financial independence and operated mostly as a sub-group, he stated.

He noted the benefits of financial and legal independence of the Information and Communication Technology Organization and added with the ratification of the organization’s statutes and financial independence, we can act independently and create stable resources and generate income.

With the approval of the new constitution and the activity of this organization in Article 84, the possibility of establishing a legal entity, the ability to earn money from the place of providing services, the ease of access in holding tenders, and the improvement of economic and budgetary performance will be provided, he concluded.
